If skincare feels overwhelming right now, you’re not the only one.
With new products launching every week, endless step routines, and everyone on social media shouting about their “must-haves,” it’s easy to feel like you’re getting it wrong if your bathroom shelf isn’t overflowing.
But here’s the truth: you don’t need a complicated routine to get great skin.
If you’re feeling lost, come back to the basics, the products that actually work, that your skin can rely on day in, day out ⬆️
From there, you can build, but you don’t need to do it all at once. And you definitely don’t need a 12-step routine to have healthy, glowing skin.
If you’re stuck, start small. Stay consistent. And remember: it’s not about having more products, it’s about using the right ones, well.

The eyelid area is often one of the very first places my patients start to notice changes.
A little crepiness, slight looseness, or that familiar “tired” look that doesn’t seem to improve, no matter how good your eye cream is. Because the skin here is so thin and delicate, it naturally shows signs of ageing earlier than other areas, especially as collagen levels drop and the skin becomes less elastic over time.
While these changes are completely normal, they can still affect how fresh, bright, and confident you feel day to day.
Many women tell me that they feel well and rested, but their eyes tell a different story when they look in the mirror. That mismatch can be frustrating, especially when skincare alone can only do so much in this area.
The reassuring news is that surgery isn’t the only option. With the right non-surgical treatments, we can gently regenerate, tighten, and strengthen the eyelid skin, helping it appear smoother, firmer, and more lifted, all while keeping your expression soft and natural.
The goal isn’t to change how you look, but to restore that light, refreshed appearance around the eyes.
Here are some of the most effective ways to treat lax, crepey eyelids with minimal downtime 👉🏼

Thinking about having dermal filler treatment? Here are 3 things to keep in mind before you book ⤵️
1. Timing is everything
Filler isn’t something you squeeze in last-minute before a big event or a holiday. You’ll need to avoid UV exposure while your skin is healing, and we also need to plan around life events like weddings or important work commitments. Factoring in downtime is key if you want a seamless experience and natural results.
2. Consultation first, treatment second
What you think you need isn’t always what will give you the best outcome. Many patients come asking for tear trough filler, for example, when in fact the midface or cheek area is what truly needs support. This is why a detailed consultation is essential, it allows us to really understand your concerns and recommend the right treatment plan for you.
3. Safety above all else
Never just book into “a filler appointment.” Do your research. Who’s injecting you? What’s their medical training? What products are they using? Where are they working from? These things matter, because your face deserves nothing less than safe, gold-standard care.

Polynucleotides have become one of the most talked-about treatments in aesthetics, and for good reason. They are a genuinely valuable tool, and I use them a lot in clinic.
But with that popularity has come a level of hype that can be misleading, so it is worth taking a step back and talking honestly about what they can and cannot do.
Polynucleotides are brilliant at improving skin quality. They support cell repair, improve hydration, strengthen the skin barrier and help the skin function in a healthier way. I love them for delicate areas like the eyes, for crepey or fragile skin, for inflammation, and for patients who want to invest in long-term skin health rather than chasing instant change.
What they’re not is a magic fix for everything. They won’t lift heavy tissue, they will not replace lost volume, and they will not give the kind of structural change that some people expect after seeing dramatic before and afters online. They work gradually and subtly, and their strength is in improving how the skin behaves over time, not in transforming the face overnight.
This is where disappointment can creep in. If someone is looking for lift, contour or visible reshaping, polynucleotides alone are not the right answer. They work best as part of a wider plan, often alongside treatments that address structure, collagen stimulation or pigmentation, depending on what is actually changing in your face.
If you’re considering polynucleotides, the most important thing is understanding why you’re having them and what role they play in your overall treatment plan. When they are used for the right reasons and in the right patient, they are an excellent treatment. When they are sold as a cure all, expectations are set too high, and results feel underwhelming.
If you want an honest conversation about whether polynucleotides are right for you, and how they would fit into a sensible, long-term approach to your skin, book a consultation or send me a message. Getting the plan right is always more important than following a trend 💙 ... See MoreSee Less

The neck is often one of the first places to show the signs of ageing, fine lines, crepiness, laxity, and uneven texture can appear long before we’re ready for them.
And while so many of us invest in our facial skincare, the neck is the area that quietly gets forgotten… until it suddenly isn’t.
With the right combination of treatments, the neck can respond beautifully.
Depending on your concerns, we may use polynucleotides to strengthen crepey skin, Profhilo to deeply hydrate and improve elasticity, Cool Laser or microneedling to rebuild collagen, or even anti-wrinkle injections to soften visible neck bands.
Every plan is tailored to your skin and the specific changes you’re noticing.

One thing we are seeing more and more in the clinic? Rapid weight loss is showing up in the face.
Patients often come in saying they are delighted with their body changes, but surprised by how different their face now looks. When facial fat pads shrink quickly, it can leave the face looking hollow or sagging, especially around the lower face and neck. What feels healthy and positive for the body can sometimes feel prematurely ageing for the face.
A slow and steady approach to weight loss is always kinder on your skin, but if you have already noticed changes that are bothering you, there are ways we can help. Treatments that restore volume, stimulate collagen and improve skin quality can make a huge difference, softening that drawn look and giving back natural definition.
If this is something you are experiencing, you are not alone. We are seeing it more and more, and there are safe, subtle options to help you feel like yourself again.
If this resonates with you, send me a message, and we can talk through the most effective treatments for your face and skin 💌 ... See MoreSee Less
