Fresher and brighter, but still entirely herself ✨️
The lower face is one of the areas that changes most noticeably with age, and also one of the most complex to treat well.
Jowling, deepening folds, loss of definition through the jawline, and a gradual shift in skin quality often happen at the same time, which is why addressing one thing in isolation rarely gives the result you want.
What we're looking at here is a combination approach, though the exact plan always depends on what's actually happening in that individual's face.
That might mean using Radiesse or dermal filler to restore structure, Sculptra to rebuild collagen over time, or treatments like microneedling and PRP to improve the quality of the skin itself.
Often, it's several of these working together rather than one thing doing all the heavy lifting.
If you've been noticing changes around your lower face and aren't sure where to start, a consultation is always the right first step. Book via the link in bio 🔗

Cool Laser is one of our most effective treatments for skin that looks clearer, brighter, and healthier from the inside out, tackling pigmentation, uneven tone, texture, and old acne scarring all in one.
It triggers a repair response deep in the skin that rebuilds your own collagen over the weeks and months that follow, so the skin firms and strengthens from within and the results keep improving long after your appointment.
When you pair that with the right medical-grade skincare and daily SPF at home, you protect all that work and give your skin every chance to look its best 🙌🏽
That home care matters more than people realise, which is why we never send you off to figure it out alone. Every plan is built around your skin specifically, with a routine to match, so what you do between appointments works alongside what we do in clinic rather than against it.
If clearer, healthier, more resilient skin is the goal, come and let us build you a plan around it. Book your Cool Laser consultation through the link in bio 💌 ... See MoreSee Less

Most people think of dermal filler as something that adds volume, and whilst that's part of what Radiesse does, it's not the whole story.
What makes it different is that it also stimulates your own collagen production over the months that follow treatment, which means the result continues to develop and improve long after the appointment itself.
This matters more in your 40s and beyond because collagen loss is one of the biggest drivers of the changes people notice at this stage.
The face starts to look less supported, the skin feels less firm, and there's a general flatness that wasn't there before. Radiesse addresses that at a structural level rather than just filling over the surface.
We use it across a range of areas, including the cheeks, jawline, and lower face, and it's particularly well-suited to patients noticing early jowling, loss of definition, or a change in the overall firmness of their skin.
If you're in your 40s and wondering where to start, it's worth having a proper conversation about what your skin actually needs right now. Book a consultation via the link in bio 💌

Five things we say on repeat in our clinic because they're the conversations that actually change outcomes.
We have these discussions every single week, and over time we've noticed that the women who get the best results long term are almost always the ones who came in willing to have an honest conversation rather than just confirming what they'd already decided they wanted.
These are the five things worth knowing before you book anything 👉🏼

You're not getting the most out of Cool Laser if you're skipping SPF.
This is probably the single most important thing I tell every patient before and after a course of Cool Laser, because it makes the difference between results that last and results that don't.
Cool Laser works by stimulating collagen, improving skin texture, and targeting pigmentation and sun damage accumulated over the years.
If you're not protecting that skin from UV exposure consistently afterwards, you're essentially undoing the work.
Pigmentation will return, the skin becomes more vulnerable to damage, and the results you've invested in won't hold anywhere near as well as they should.
SPF isn't an optional extra when you're having laser treatment. It's part of the treatment itself.
We'd always recommend a broad-spectrum SPF50 applied every morning as a non-negotiable, alongside a medical-grade skincare routine tailored to support and maintain your results in between sessions.

The neck is one of those areas that most people completely overlook until it starts to bother them, and by that point, they assume there's not much that can be done about it.
The crepey texture, the horizontal lines, the loss of firmness through the skin itself.
These are changes that happen gradually as collagen declines, and they tend to show up on the neck earlier than most people expect because the skin there is thinner and more vulnerable to the effects of ageing and sun exposure than the skin on the face.
Depending on what's driving the concern, we might use Profhilo to deeply hydrate and improve skin quality across the neck, polynucleotides to repair and regenerate at a cellular level, muscle-relaxing injections to soften the vertical bands that develop as the platysma muscle changes, or microneedling and PRP to stimulate collagen and improve the texture of the skin itself.
Often, it's a combination of these working together that creates the most noticeable improvement.
The result here shows what's possible when the neck is treated with the same care and attention as the face.

There’s a reason Cool Laser has become one of the treatments people reach for before a big trip or event. It refreshes and renews the skin from the surface up, delivering that visible glow with far less downtime than you’d expect from a laser.
It works by gently resurfacing the outermost layers of the skin, clearing away the dull, damaged and pigmented cells that build up over time, while stimulating fresh collagen in the layers beneath. So you’re not just improving how the skin looks on the surface; you’re strengthening and renewing it underneath at the same time. That combination is what leaves skin looking genuinely fresher rather than simply polished for a day.
Here’s what it helps with:
✨ Brightening dull, tired-looking skin
✨ Fading pigmentation and sun damage
✨ Smoothing uneven texture and refining pores
✨ Softening fine lines
✨ Boosting overall radiance and clarity
It’s that all-in-one quality that makes it such a lovely pre-event treatment. Rather than targeting one concern, it lifts the whole complexion, leaving skin clearer, smoother and more even. Most people need only a short recovery of a couple of days of mild redness or light flaking, which is exactly why it fits so well around a occasion when timed properly.
For that camera-ready glow, it’s hard to beat. Clearer, brighter, smoother skin that looks completely natural and unmistakably you.
The trick is timing it right, giving your skin that little window to renew beforehand, which is exactly what a consultation is for.
If a pre-event refresh sounds like exactly what you need, DM LASER to learn more, or head to the link in the bio to book a consultation. ... See MoreSee Less

If I wanted to improve an ageing mouth, here’s exactly where I’d start 👇🏼
The mouth is one of the areas I get asked about most, and it’s also one of the most misunderstood when it comes to treatment.
People often come in assuming lip filler is the obvious answer, but treating this area well is rarely that straightforward.
These are the treatments I’d actually recommend, and why the approach matters as much as the treatment itself ➡️

The decisions you make about your skin in your 40s matter more than most people realise.
Most people in their forties are trying to fix individual concerns without ever addressing the bigger picture.
A product for pigmentation here, a treatment for lines there, something else for skin laxity. It ends up being expensive and rarely gets to the root of what’s actually changed.
The patients whose skin looks best long-term are the ones who focused on skin quality, collagen support, and structure early on and stayed consistent.
This is exactly where I’d start and why 👉🏼

Subtle lip filler can make the most beautiful difference - not by changing your features, but by gently restoring the softness, structure, and definition that time naturally takes away.
As we age, the lips can lose volume and contour, the borders become less defined, and lipstick doesn’t sit quite the way it used to. Rather than creating something new, a carefully considered approach helps to bring back what was once there.
A softly restored lip line, a touch of hydration, a little lift at the corners - together they create a fresher, more balanced, more harmonious appearance, without anyone ever being able to pinpoint why you look so well. The lips still move naturally, still express emotion, still feel like you - just a more confident, softened version.
This result is a perfect example of what a thoughtful, minimal approach can achieve. Just lips that look beautifully hydrated, proportionate, and completely in keeping with your natural features.

Most patients come to us with one specific concern, whether that’s pigmentation, acne scarring, uneven texture, or skin that’s lost its clarity over the years.
What they don’t always expect is that Cool Laser tends to address several of those things at the same time, while also supporting the skin’s collagen levels and long-term health in a way that continues developing for months after treatment.
If you’ve been noticing that your skin doesn’t behave the way it used to, this is worth a read 👉🏼
