Most people come to their first aesthetics consultation with at least one worry before they’ve even sat down.

Am I going to be pushed into something I don’t need? Will I come out looking different in a way I didn’t want? Is the person I’m seeing actually going to listen to me? 💭

Those concerns are completely valid, and they’re exactly why we do things the way we do. These are the five things you’ll never have to worry about when you come to see us 👉🏼

You don’t often find an aesthetic nurse with a clinical background quite like Qusva’s. 🤍

Before aesthetics, Qusva worked across some of the most demanding specialities in nursing. Accident and emergency, ophthalmology, maxillofacial, head and neck cancer, general surgery, orthopaedics, and audiology. That breadth of experience shapes everything about how she approaches patient care, because she understands the body, anatomy, and clinical risk in a way that goes well beyond what most aesthetics training covers.

She also brings a background in holistic therapy, which informs her whole person approach to treatment. It’s not just about what’s being injected or treated. It’s about the patient in front of her and what they actually need.
Qusva began her aesthetics career in 2010 and has been building on that solid clinical foundation ever since.

Her approach is always considered, always tailored, and always led by safety first. The results she achieves are natural, subtle, and genuinely individual to you 💙

The skin around the lower face and mouth is one of the first places crepey texture starts to show and one of the hardest to treat.

That's because this isn't a surface-level problem. The crepey texture, the loss of firmness, the way the skin around the lips and chin starts to feel thinner and less resilient over time: these are structural changes driven by collagen loss. No topical product is designed to address that, which is why so many people feel stuck with this particular concern.

Cool Laser works by creating a controlled stimulus within the skin that triggers the body's own collagen production, improving texture, firmness, and skin quality progressively over time. The skin continues to remodel for several months after treatment, so the improvement you see at six months is often considerably better than what you saw at six weeks.

For anyone going through perimenopause or menopause, this is particularly relevant. The drop in oestrogen during this time has a direct impact on collagen levels, which is why skin can change quite noticeably and feel harder to manage than it ever has before. Treating it with something that actively rebuilds collagen rather than just sitting on top of the skin makes a significant difference to the outcome.

The before and after here shows exactly what's possible.

Your skin can look completely different in summer depending on how you support it between treatments.

One of the biggest things we notice in clinic is that patients often assume they need stronger products, more exfoliation, or more actives once the weather gets warmer. In reality, summer skin is usually far more reactive than people realise, especially when you’re also having in-clinic treatments.

Treatments such as Cool Laser, microneedling, chemical peels, skin boosters, and polynucleotides all rely on healthy healing and a strong skin barrier to give the best results. When the skin becomes dehydrated, inflamed, or overworked, results often don’t last or the skin simply doesn’t respond as well as it should.

A lot of the time, the goal during summer isn’t pushing the skin harder. It’s protecting collagen, controlling inflammation, maintaining hydration, and supporting recovery properly so the skin stays healthy, balanced, and resilient.

These are three of the biggest skincare mistakes we see every summer and why they can have a huge impact on your results ➡️

If you’re unsure which treatments or skincare are right for your skin this summer, book a consultation and we’ll create a plan tailored properly to your skin and goals 💌

Crepey skin around the eyes is one of the most common concerns I see, and it’s an area that responds genuinely well to the right approach.

The key thing to understand is that no single treatment addresses this on its own. The eye area is delicate and complex, and meaningful improvement comes from combining different approaches that each work on a different aspect of what’s causing the crepiness in the first place.

If this were my own concern, here’s exactly where I’d start.

✨️ Polynucleotides for the foundation, stimulating collagen, improving hydration, and strengthening the delicate skin in this area at a cellular level.

✨️ A course of microneedling, three sessions initially, to boost collagen and elastin and gradually smooth and firm the texture.

✨️ A genuinely well-formulated eye cream with peptides, hyaluronic acid, and where appropriate a gentle retinol.

✨️ Being mindful of how you remove eye makeup, since years of rubbing and pulling contribute significantly to crepiness over time.

✨️And consistent SPF, because sun damage is one of the biggest drivers of collagen loss around the eyes specifically.

Combined consistently, in-clinic treatment and good home care together, this is the kind of approach that genuinely changes how the eye area looks over time.

Your thirties are often the decade where skin starts changing in ways you can’t explain at first.

It’s not usually one sudden issue, it’s more that the skin doesn’t recover the same way, the face can start to look more tired, and the things that used to work no longer seem as effective.

This is also the stage where small, consistent decisions start making a very noticeable difference long term.

Collagen support, skin quality, prevention, and a more strategic approach to treatments all become far more important than chasing quick fixes.

Here’s what we believe is worth investing in for healthier, stronger, better ageing skin in your thirties 👉🏼

The treatments our practitioners choose for themselves are the ones they believe in most, and for Nurse Emma, Sculptra is firmly on that list.

At 44, Emma started noticing the changes she sees in patients every day. A gradual softening through the lower face, skin that felt less supported, the kind of shift that happens slowly and then feels suddenly very obvious.

Unlike traditional fillers, Sculptra works by stimulating the body’s own collagen production over time, restoring structure and improving skin quality gradually and naturally. People just say you look well, refreshed, healthy.

Emma only recommends treatments she believes in from personal experience as well as clinical practice - and this is one of them!

If you’d like to find out whether Sculptra is right for your skin, head to the link in our bio to book a consultation in clinic or DM ‘SCULPTRA’ to learn more 💌

The best results are always the ones patients forget they had.

When a patient comes back for their review, settled into how they look, and we pull out the before photo, they’re genuinely taken aback, because it’s so natural that they’ve simply stopped thinking about it!

That’s always the goal. Results that integrate completely into how someone looks, so they just look well, more rested, more balanced, more like themselves.

This patient had treatment across the under-eye area, cheeks, and lower face, using a combination of approaches tailored to what each area needed. And now, she simply looks fresher and more vibrant - but still 100% like herself ✨️
